  • In September 2022, one of my favourite shots was chosen to be published in the Holland Herald, KLM’s in-flight magazine.

  • In November 2016 I was again awarded the 1st prize at the „Study Abroad Photo Contest“ (employee category) of the Johannes Kepler University Linz
    • the jury selected „Starry Night“ which I took in a wonderful clear night during a Summer School in France
  • A picture I took some days after my family’s home was hit by a devastating flood made it into the World Meteorological Organization’s calendar! It has been viewed by more than 260.000 people on Facebook and got featured in the printed WMO 2016 Calendar (which was distributed to meteorological organizations around the world and to the annual U.N. climate negotiations). Furthermore, the photo was also showcased in the WMO Photo Exhibit at the WMO headquarters in Geneva for World Meteorological Day 2016, remains in the permanent WMO Flickr album and got promoted on Facebook and Twitter as cover photo for one month!
    • the story got picked up not only by my hometown’s local paper but also by one of the most widely distributed newspapers in Austria, the Oberösterreichische Nachrichten, in the form of an extensive article in its online and print versionooen
  • I’m proud to say that two of my pictures were displayed in the Hartlauer Fotogalerie exhibition „Österreich im Bild“ during August and September 2015
    • Ottensheimer Fährmann“ is a portrait of my local ferryman, a figure so unique and charming that he could be considered a regional celebrity
    • Urfix in der Stahlstadt“ shows Linz, a city well known for its steel plant, during the inauguration of the bi-annual fair Urfahraner Markt, better known as Urfix
  • In November 2014 I was awarded the 1st prize at the „Study Abroad Photo Contest“ (employee category) of the Johannes Kepler University Linz
    • the jury selected „Room with a View“ which I shot from the highest tower in Dubrovnik’s antique city wall as the winning picture
